Because you should feel good about ‘you’ down to the core. And knowing your under things are silky and sexy will make you feel alluring and confident. Plus, don’t forget what your mother said, if you ever get in to a car accident, what impression will your underwear make on those rescue guys?? And, of course, there’s always him. Oh Baby |

| Hair’s The Thing: | |||
| There is no deeper, more important relationship than the one that exists between a woman and her hair. You’ve grown up together, shared the good days and bad hair days. Your hair tried its darndest to keep you happy, always eager to please. It tried hard to be forgiving when you were so cruel – burning it with a curling iron, a hair dryer, a flat iron, that bleach. When you decided to cut your own bangs it hung in there with you, though humiliated. When you thought the asymmetrical hair and the Partridge Family shag was a good idea, your hair tried its best to go with the flow, even though it knew better and has to be reminded by those dreadful grade school pictures for eternity. It suffered greatly through the Farrah years, knowing it couldn’t quite meet your demands, couldn’t ever be BIG enough, couldn’t ever really make you satisfied. But now as a grown up, that bond begins to break, and your hair, after all that you put it through, just can’t take it anymore and has decided to leave you? “NOOOooooooo!” you cry, “I’m sorry,” you plead as the hair begins in earnest falling all over the bathroom tiles, clinging for one last emotional goodbye to the shoulders of your sweater. Stress, hormones, menopause, babies, whatever the culprit, as we age, our hair can thin. If you’re like us, as with most things, you obsess over this. You spend your days and nights wondering when it will stop. You assume, or hope, you have a thyroid disorder, or worse, you are certain you are dying of something. In most cases, like a dysfunctional relationship (you break up, you get back together, you break up…and so on.), your hair always comes back. To help ‘win it back’ when it’s being, let’s say, “a challenge,” take a regular Vitamin B Complex. Don’t dry it. Get it trimmed once every 5 weeks, and use the Nioxin system, available at fine salons. It’s really a miracle, and we swear by it. After babies in particular, and a few extremely stressful periods, which was made worse by the stress of hair loss ironically, we used it and wha-lah, it stopped the shedding. And our beloved came back thick and healthy, better than ever, very quickly. It is truly amazing. Remember, like a good marriage counselor; don’t underestimate a little outside help sometimes. Even though we have always thought bald men were sexy, he can use it too when he starts his anxiety producing hair loss, and it will make a difference. At a minimum it makes what little you have thicker. (Did anyone ever see that Seinfeld episode where the guy shaves his head because it is ‘in.’ Then after a year, decides to grow his hair back but suddenly he can’t. Within that year, he’s gone bald. He had missed the last year of his life with hair….) |

Bumble and Bumble Brilliantine – a little dab gives separation, texture and shine. Bikini magazine describes it as “this stuff will give you that drove-to-Vegas-with-the-top-down, slept-under-a-barstool-for-the-night, blew-out-of-town-with-a-pocket-full-of-dough-look.” Sounds good to us. |
