Spend First Thursday at Alchemy in the Pearl

Drool Over Jewelry Designer Victor Velyan’s Work, and Meet the Artist—Thursday Night and All Day Friday!

Tomorrow night, tomorrow night! Alchemy (the best-kept jewelry secret in Portland, and one of our very favorite spots) is throwing a First Thursday shindig with jewelry designer Victor Velyan—he’ll be there to meet & greet, and you’ll get to swoon over his work. Did you see these photos? It’s amazing stuff.

Velyan is a manly man whose cutting-edge work will blow your mind.He’s been swimming with hammerhead sharks in Mexico, he’s filmed wildlife in Africa, and when he’s not trekking, he’s creating dazzling jewelry.His unique pieces are inspired by old-world architecture, as well as music, nature, travel, unique cultures, history and fine art. That’s a lot for one ring!

To top it off, around 7 pm Amanda Richards will be playing live music, and what’s shopping without a soundtrack?
