Helping Out is A Good Thing
Especially When it Comes to the Cure
We ran into a friend who suggested we host a Botox party… our first thought was, “Do we need Botox?” Are we really “there”? Then we looked at her face—she’s got the skin of a 25-year-old and not a wrinkle in sight. There’s something to be said for that.
She also has a flat tummy (which we haven’t had since the 6th grade) and thin thighs. We might have to hate her. But instead, we’re looking to improve our self-image by improving our physical self. (And trust—we’ve done enough soul-searching and emotional growing to know that no matter how many times we say no to cupcakes or yes to 10 more reps at the gym, we can’t fight the power of natural aging without a little help.)
So we turn to Aesthetic Medicine—and we’re thrilled to share that they are a proud partner of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Dr. Darm has made a year-round pledge of platinum-level partnership to the Oregon and SW Washington Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. And this year marks the 20th Annual Komen Portland Race for the Cure, happening on September 18.
Be safe, be informed, and be happy with yourself. But if you want to make changes—for yourself and for others, check out Dr. Darm’s medical weight-loss program by clicking here, and sign up for the Race for the Cure by clicking here.
